The story of a soldier of the 41st separate mechanized brigade
On March 9, 2023, she voluntarily joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Without loud statements.
Without pathos.
Simply because she could not do otherwise.
Her call sign is "Bulatka".
Hard as steel. And warm, like a word of support before entering the position.
To the army - service to the state
Before the army, she worked in a penal institution. Discipline, order, responsibility — this was her daily work.
But the war changed everything.
My son-in-law served in the Armed Forces.
My own nephew died defending Ukraine.
And she made a decision.
“I left to help the boys win. So that it would be a little easier for them."
These words are not the emotion of the moment.
They have the depth of loss and the strength of character.
Training at the brigade's training ground
She underwent basic combined military training in the spring of 2023 at the brigade's training ground. Several months of intensive training, adjustment, work on myself.
It was difficult.
It was physically difficult.
It was mentally difficult.
But she did not leave the distance.
"I knew why I was here."
And since then she has been in the ranks.
The material support sergeant is the backbone of the unit
In the 41st separate mechanized brigade, she serves as a material sergeant provision.
But her service is much more than a position.
She:
provides the unit with the necessary things
organizes everyday life
maintains order
escorts the soldiers on assignments
finds the right words when it is difficult
She is there every day.
Lives with the unit. Shares weekdays with him. He rejoices with the boys at their small victories.
"I have a family. But here is also a family."
And this is felt in everything - in care, in strictness, in demandingness.
She can be strict when necessary.
She can support when someone is silently suffering.
She can also joke:
"I am versatile - I will give an order and cook borscht."

The strength of the brigade is not only in technology or tasks.
Strength is in people.
In those who do not hide from responsibility.
In those who come voluntarily.
In those who become a support for others.
"Bulatka" is one of them.
She holds the rear.
Creates order.
Gives a sense of home where it is temporarily absent.
A decision that determines the future
She left her usual the world not because it was easy.
But because it was right.
Because victory is not only about the front line.
It is about everyone who does his job honestly.
And if today you hesitate, remember her history.
Sometimes it is enough to simply say to yourself:
“I am needed here.”
