History of a soldier of the 41st separate mechanized brigade
Spring of 2022. A full-scale invasion.
He didn't dream of epaulettes. His element is the camera.
The call sign "Kodak" appeared quickly. The brothers joked: if there is movement somewhere, he is already filming. As a legendary film brand, it knows how to capture a moment and preserve it forever. Before the war, he photographed everything: people, events, the road, the light at dawn. Because memory is a value.
But in 2022, he changed his focus.
Why he left
He says simply:
“I did not come for romance. I came so that my children would not have to fight for their home in ten years."
The occupiers came to destroy - he came to stop it.
No pathos. Without loud slogans. It's just necessary.
And that's why he enlisted himself in the spring of 2022.
Combat path: from support to fire
Began his service in the 67th brigade. It was there that he met his brother "Ataman" - you have already read the story about him.
First - the material support battalion. But later, both decided to transfer to the combat unit - to the fire support company (RVP). They worked on the same gun.
Because if you are to serve, that is where your work has the maximum result.
Later, their path led to the 41st separate mechanized brigade.
Now it is the communication that keeps the unit
Today, "Kodak" serves in the 41st communication platoon.
His task is to ensure stable, reliable communication.
And communication is the nerve of the army.
Without him, there is no coordination.
Without him, there is no accuracy.
Without him, there is no result.
If before he was catching the frame, now he is the signal.
And he does it just as carefully.
He jokes:
“Once he adjusted the focus, now he adjusted the frequency. The principle is the same: it must be clear."

Different people serve here.
From different cities. With different experiences.
