True leaders are formed not by titles, but by decisions. Decisions to take responsibility, lead and stand where it is most dangerous.
The call sign "Surgeon" signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2006-2008, taking the first steps of his military career. After completing his service, he returned to civilian life, where he realized himself as a successful farmer, an active public figure and a person who did a lot for the development of farming, small business and his territorial community.
Before the full-scale invasion, he built, developed, supported. But when the enemy came to Ukrainian soil, the choice was obvious.
From the end of May 2023, "Surgeon" made a conscious decision and joined the ranks of the Armed Forces again. Almost immediately he was sent to study in Great Britain, where he underwent intensive training and successfully completed it. After his return, he joined the fire support company of the 41st separate mechanized brigade.
As the commander of the mortar platoon, "Surgeon" showed himself as a strong, collected and responsible commander. Thanks to the professional management and coordinated work of the unit, the enemy was effectively destroyed in the Kupyansk and Chasiv'yariv directions.
During one of the combat episodes, during aerial reconnaissance, units of the 41st OMBr detected the movement of the enemy - three BMP-2s with landing forces. After receiving the coordinates, the 120-mm mortar unit under the command of the call sign "Surgeon" damaged the enemy's armored vehicles with several accurate shots and disrupted the offensive. The enemy landing group was liquidated, the enemy suffered significant losses and was forced to retreat.
Today, the "Surgeon" is in the zone of direct combat and continues to perform its assigned tasks, restraining the enemy in the Sumy direction as part of the 41st separate mechanized brigade.
This is a story about a man who knows how to build -
