The infantry is the backbone of the military. Artillery, drones, armored vehicles, and other units all work to support the infantry. Together with their comrades, infantry soldiers hold the line so that our land remains Ukrainian. Serving among them is an honor. Together, your endurance, training, and determination become a force that stops the enemy and brings victory closer.
Rifleman is one of the infantry’s core specialties. Defending positions, keeping watch, and carrying out combat missions as part of a unit — that is the job. It builds character and determination, while coordination between comrades becomes the unit’s strength. Together, you hold the line, stop the enemy, defend your land, and bring Ukraine’s victory closer.
In this role, your contribution becomes part of a shared result. A defended position, a life saved, a mission accomplished — behind each are your efforts and mutual support. You will know what you trained for and what you have achieved together. Your training and responsibility help determine the strength of the unit, with comrades you can rely on beside you.
The infantry’s strength lies in people who know how to work together. You rely on your comrades, and they rely on you. Everyone has their own task, but the goal is shared. Training, discipline, and trust build a unit capable of standing against the enemy. You can become part of that strength.
You do not need military experience to take this step. People join the military from factories, construction sites, workshops, and offices. The ability to work, take responsibility for your decisions, and see a task through will serve you well. We’ll teach you military skills from scratch.
During training, you will learn to use weapons and equipment and master the basics of tactics and tactical medicine. You will learn to navigate terrain, understand a combat mission, and know your role in carrying it out. Together with your comrades, you will practice coordinated action as a unit. This is how an infantry soldier’s skills develop: handling weapons confidently, understanding the situation, and acting shoulder to shoulder with fellow soldiers.
