Combatant status: what it is and what it gives
Combatant status is an official recognition of a person's participation in the defense of Ukraine. This is not just a formality, but a confirmation that you performed your work where the country needed it.
Along with this status, access to state benefits and social guarantees provided for those who went through combat operations is opened.
Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, other military formations and law enforcement agencies, as well as certain categories of volunteers and workers who directly participated in measures to ensure the defense of Ukraine in areas of hostilities.
This is a basic understanding. But another thing is important: status is not just a record in documents. Behind it are specific opportunities and support.
