We are used to looking at the sky and seeing clouds, the sun, and birds. An anti-aircraft gunner looks at it differently.

For him, the sky is a space of constant attention, where it is important to notice changes in time. Modern warfare has made the sky one of the key battlespaces.

Modern air defense is about people, technology, information and constant interaction. No matter how modern the technologies are, a trained person remains an important part of this system.

For an anti-aircraft gunner, attentiveness is a professional skill, and responsibility is an integral part of the job. He cannot afford to miss an air target, because the lives of people, the preservation of equipment and important objects may depend on his actions. It requires concentration, discipline and the ability to work clearly in a team.

Modern air defense is the work of many people. Everyone fulfills their part of the task, and together they create a system, the coherence of which depends on the joint result.

Today, the importance of this profession is especially felt by all of Ukraine. Russia regularly attacks Ukrainian cities and villages. The air threat exists throughout the country.

That is why air defense work is needed everywhere. Anti-aircraft guns protect units and equipment, help cover important objects and civilians.

Sometimes the result of their work is not what we see, but what we managed to prevent.

They become anti-aircraft guns. It is not necessary to join the army as a ready-made specialist. The necessary knowledge and skills can be acquired during training, and further developed in practice. The main thing is the desire to learn, attentiveness, discipline and responsibility.

When an air threat appears, the anti-aircraft fighters do their job.
