The driver of the mortar battery of the mechanized battalion of the 41st separate mechanized brigade with the call sign "Kherson" is far from new to war. Even during the anti-terrorist operation, he served as a driver, drove long-range guns that covered the legendary "cyborgs" of the Donetsk airport with accurate and devastating fire.
Then, as now, his work was invisible to the cameras. But without people like him, guns don't fire, they don't hold their positions and they don't return alive from combat exits.
Today, "Kherson" is at the helm again - already as part of the 41st OMBr. Under fire, at night and in bad weather, he delivers ammunition, evacuates equipment, ensures the operation of the mortar battery. He knows: every minute on the road is a chance to save his people.
“I'm just doing my job. Because if not us, then who?"
