"No one gave a rear": the story of "Shustro" from the 41st OMBr

In March 2023, when the 41st OMBr was just being formed, he became one of those who joined the brigade from the first days. Call sign - "Shustry". It was in the 41st brigade that he got his first combat experience: sorties, difficult directions, combat work and years of service alongside his comrades. He says that from the very beginning the main thing was people around and mutual support. They studied, worked, fought. They went into combat right away, the serviceman recalls.
The unit spent its first combat deployment in the Orlyansky direction. For many, it was the first real combat experience, but there was no time for long thoughts - it was necessary to work.
- It was scary for everyone. But no one gave a damn. They did their work because they understood what we were here for, - says "Shustriya".
During his service, he went through various directions and combat tasks. He says that the most memorable moments are not individual moments, but the people with whom you serve.
- In such conditions, it is very clear who is who. Twins become almost family. They support each other and pull each other out in any situations, - says the soldier.
Separately, "Shustriya" mentions the training and preparation that the brigade underwent at the beginning of formation. This, according to him, helped to adapt to combat work faster and learn to act in a coordinated manner.
Today, he continues to serve in the 41st OMBr along with those who also joined the ranks in 2023. He says that during this time the brigade has changed a lot and become much stronger - primarily thanks to the people.
- Everyone contributes. And this is what the strength of the unit consists of, - says "Shustriya".
41 OMBr continues to recruit motivated people who are ready to become part of a combat team and work together for a common cause.
