"Cat". The story of a warrior who returns to the ranks every time

He does not like loud words and does not consider himself a hero. He simply says: "Someone has to fight." In the unit, he is known by the nickname "Cat" - calm, hardy, stubborn. It is such people who hold the front.
The "Cat" entered the war from the first days of the full-scale invasion. No pathos, no hesitation. His combat journey began as part of the 53rd separate mechanized brigade, where he quickly learned the true price of war: trenches, artillery fire, loss of comrades and responsibility for those close to him.
He joined the 41st separate mechanized brigade as a hardened fighter. Here he was also in the hottest areas, performed combat tasks, did not hide behind others' backs. He was seriously wounded in the battles near Sinkivka. Hospital, long treatment, rehabilitation. The doctors' verdict was limited.
He was sent to the rear.
But "Cat" couldn't.
He couldn't sit in the dining room when his brothers were there, at ground zero.
He couldn't come to terms with the idea that the war was over for him.
He returned.
He returned to the combat 41st.
And again Kupyan direction. Again positions, battles, cold, exhaustion. Another injury. Again — the hospital.
Such stories rarely make it into the summary. They don't shoot pathetic stories about them. But it is precisely on such people that the Ukrainian army rests.
"Cat" is not about loud exploits.
It is about choice.
About responsibility.
About the inner strength to return again and again.
As long as he is fighting, the 41st holds the formation.
As long as there are such soldiers, Ukraine stands.
