"We fight like everyone else": the story of the "British" from the 41st OMBr

Prior to the full-scale invasion, "Britainets" was engaged in trade. He says simply: he sold various household items, worked, lived an ordinary life.
And then the great war began - and, as he says, "he got into the army like everyone else."
He got into the army through mobilization. Without pathos and beautiful stories. Even this moment he remembers in his own way - with characteristic front-line humor:
- "They were accepted in a holy and sinful place. On one side is the church, and on the other is where the girls are standing. It was processed in 15 minutes and they say: "That's it, you're a soldier". Positions, shifts, combat work, evacuation of the wounded — all this quickly became a new reality.
He recalls one of the first serious moments discreetly. He says that then guys from another unit came to them after a heavy battle.
- "They got to us just in time. Help was provided. In the evening, at night, they were evacuated."
Without unnecessary details. But even in a few words it is clear what he had to go through.
The "British" received his basic military training in Great Britain. He recalls that at that time many people did not understand why so much time was devoted to medicine.
- "They were offended that doctors spend a lot of time. But then they understood - it really came in handy."
Already later, this knowledge helped save the lives of fellow citizens. One of the servicemen of the 41st OMBr with the call sign "YOS", who was previously mentioned on the brigade's resources, is still grateful to the "Britanets" for the help he provided after being wounded.
In the war, such moments are remembered for a lifetime.
Today, the "Britanets" continues to serve in the 41st OMBr. He doesn't talk much about himself. He says that there are thousands of such stories now.
- "We fight like everyone else."
It is in this simplicity that authenticity is felt. Without trying to make a hero out of yourself. Without loud words. Just a person who, next to his brothers, does his job and keeps order.
41 OMBr are people of different character, experience and professions. But everyone contributes to the common cause. This is where the strength of the brigade begins every day.
